Executive coaching

execo executive coaches and consultants are passionate about executive coaching and helping clients achieve their goals...

The way we work is either for an agreed number of sessions or a fixed period (usually 6 months)

To start things off we have a contracting meeting to establish relationships, how we will work together and agree an initial agenda. At this stage we would discuss some proto ideas on what the leader might need to do to ‘unstick’ themselves (and their team), so they can become higher performing. This may, for example, involve work on the following areas:

Current

Reviewing the totality of what the leader is doing and re-assessing their priorities

Reviewing the way the leader is working personally and with their team

Raising personal impact and working relationships with the Board or Executive team

Reducing high stress levels

Future

Thinking about the future and what the leader would like it to look like (both at a professional and personal level).

If appropriate the coach will then arrange to collect some data from the leader’s boss, peers and team on their perceptions, so we can do a reality check and reassess priorities.

We review the agenda at intervals as we progress to allow for change and development.

Our coaches and consultants plan to meet clients every three - four weeks (usually offsite) and we review progress after 3 months.

We may agree that it would be useful to carry out some psychometrics to give particular insights – execo have access to a range of instruments, including our own customised leadership effectiveness questionnaires to help do this.

All the work we do is confidential and remains between the coach and the client. Our coaches are affiliated with the International Coach Federation and follow their guidelines in their work.
